You're Invited to a Special Screening & Event

NBC Bay Area and the Consulate General of France in San Francisco would like to invite you and your colleagues to a special screening of Allons Enfants. We are excited to invite Bay Area dancers to enjoy the screening, as the film explores how hip-hop can serve as a tool for learning and empowerment (in French with English subtitles).

The screening will be followed by a live performance by B-Boy Precise, a renowned break-dancer and former captain of the Golden State Warriors breakdance group, and his breakdance troupe.

Following the performance, a panel discussion with B-Boy Precise, Amber Sweat, a PhD candidate in French at UC Berkeley and creator of a course on hip-hop in the Francophone world, Alejandra Navarro, Director of Equity, Inclusion, and Justice at the Lycée Français de San Francisco, and moderated by Jessica Aguirre, NBC Bay Area anchor and Emmy award winning journalist.
