[MEET THE CHOREOGRAPHERS]
Namaad Jackson is a performer, choreographer, educator and mentor whose background, training, passion and its underlying culture extends over 16 years. In 2008, Jackson found Kaution Dance Kru (KDK) and served as its Chief Executive Director. KDK is an equal opportunity professional dance company that provides guidance, education and training to inspire other energetic dancers. Jackson has taught, performed, and been a part of many dance companies and taught at studios in DC, Las Vegas, Utah and more. Since moving to the Bay Area, Namaad has been signed as a talent with RAE Talent and Model Agency. He also teaches at studios all around the Bay Area such as Purdance, Fullout Studios, RAE Studios, and Ray of Light Performing Arts. Namaad also dances and performs with Str8Jacket Dance Company where he continues his training in various forms of hip hop. Namaad sees dance as a medium to tell stories, discuss issues, and inspire others. He is very passionate about his life as a professional dancer, choreographer, and educator.
