No Mirror Movement is kicking off the holiday giving season with a night of dance, community and 90s throwbacks. Come join us!

WHO: YOU! Dancers, movers, mental health professional, youths, families, positive body image activitsts, fitness professionals, studio owners and anyone who believes in the importance of wellness and self expression ♥

WHAT: A 90s jam for all bodies, abilities and styles. Open cyphers and a Whacking battle that is a cypher format (with secret judges! OoOoooo), local youth crew performances, No Mirror Movement performance, food, drinks, wellness workshops, DJ, raffle, dancing and community FUN.

WHERE: Bluxome Center // 61 Bluxome Street // SF

WHEN: Saturday November 3rd 6:00-10:00 pm

WHY: 
1) To raise funds for our one-of-a-kind integrated dance+wellness curriculum and programs
2) To keep whacking culture and community alive in the Bay Area
3) To raise funds for our first ever full-length show in Spring 2019 called: the collective Self.
3) To build community across establsihed communities (fitness, freestylem, choreography, families, young professionals, etc.)

NEW BATTLE FORMAT: Cypher Style

The 90s were all about party dances and really connecting as a community through dancing together. We want to bring back that spirit in this jam through a cypher style format for the battle. The judges will remain SECRET until after prelims. Prelims, will be just an open cypher format where anyone attending the event can dance in, not just those entering. Individuals entering the battle will have a special tag on them so judges know they are entering. Cyphers will go on for about an hour before the judges and Top 8 are revealed. The Top 8 is then a 1v1 battle format.
